Honeywell smart home products aim to create a safe, comfortable, and healthy home environment for users through advanced technology and intelligent management. The smart home system has multiple subsystems, such as security, fresh air, temperature control, lighting, air conditioning, etc., achieving interconnection and intelligent control of home devices through advanced wired/wireless communication technology.

We have created a new generation of smart home series, systematically enhancing the product experience to provide users with a new product experience. The target market covers project-based and also includes the retail residential market. Users can easily achieve remote control and intelligent management of home devices through home smart terminals, mobile apps, or voice control.

Trend Insights

We conduct market research analysis in different regions to understand the current product situation.

Through interviews with different roles, we map out the user stakeholder map and match each functional scenario with the real needs of users in their work and life, identifying 9 core pain points of user needs.

We build different user personas based on user research, as well as an end-to-end user journey map. We detail the workflows and information structures for each scenario.

We further synthesize and summarize core scenarios, focusing on core scenarios for deeper user research, and create storyboards and storylines based on thematic scenarios.

• A brand new linkage plan configuration design. It integrates scenario linkage, device linkage, and relay mutual exclusion, providing more selection conditions while simplifying the configuration process and interface, making plan configuration more convenient and clear.
